Intervention Now
Intervention begins as we seek to gain knowledge about the various challenges of life that cause us to falter and stray from God and living the prosperous life that he has already promised and given to us all. His promise is sure and his promise is to his people, regardless of your religion, who you are or what you have done, if only you believe.
We can begin with the desire and the mind to CHANGE OUR THOUGHTS, because it is the place where our battles are fought. We all have gone down the beaten path at some point in our lives. Some of us come out still in tack and others not so good. I am a true testimony of how God will lift you up, redeem and restore you, even when you created and fell into your own mess. The arm of God is not too short that it cannot reach down and grab you and pull you out. The greatest thing is for you to honestly acknowledge what you have done --your role in the situation and be willing to be accountable for your actions rather than trying to blame everyone for your behavior. That is the first step in healing and one that many of us have difficulty with. You may say, "Well you don't understand, I have done this and I have done that, I have even murdered, prostituted, robbed, committed adultery, hated or envied others, done unspeakable things. God doesn't want someone like me and cannot help someone like me." I am here to tell you that "YOU ARE WRONG." It is the trick of the enemy to make you think you are such damaged goods and you can never change. THAT IS A LIE! That is why we must change our thoughts. In (2 Chronicles 4:17) the word of God says "If my people who are called by my name, would humble themselves, repent of their sins, turn from their wicked ways and seek my face, then will I hear from heaven." In (Isaiah 64:6) he tells us that our righteousness are as filthy rags." God even lets us know that our sins have been cast into the sea of forgetfulness and he does not remember our sins anymore. More specifically, Luke 19:10 tells us "For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." Yes people, that's not just words, they are real -- Our Sins are forgiven, but we should not continue to return to our sins as a dog returns to its own vomit. Understand that the word of God helps us to see that an unrepentant heart is evil in God's sight. We must be willing to work to put those things behind us and embrace the new beginning that we have been given. As we change our thoughts and choose to do positive things, we begin to impact our lives and the lives of those around us. The question is: Do you want real change and are you willing to seek God, not man's affirmation, but God's affirmation? Then let's do the work!
I KNOW THAT GOD is the Alpha and the Omega --the beginning and the end -- your beginning and your end. I KNOW THAT God is our PROVIDER, WAY MAKER, PRESENT HELP in the time of trouble, FRIEND, COMFORTER, HEALER, DELIVERER, SAVIOR, REDEEMER. He is ALL THAT AND MUCH MORE!! I know, because what I write to you about God, is what I have lived and continue to live each and every day. I will not tell you I understand everything or even something you have been through if I have never been where you are or have been. One thing I will tell you is that I know God is more than able to bring you out and he will go through it with you if you will allow him, because he brought me through and out of many situations. Granted, sometimes I fight along the way because I'm trying to do it in my own strength and fail miserably only to have to start over, but when I surrender, I see a difference. He does not pick and choose whom he will help or save. When we understand and decide that We Need God and reach out to him, we will see our change. The problem with us is that we want a right now fix and always want to handle things ourselves, instead of waiting on God to complete the work he already started in us. I cannot tell you how many times I have been guilty of that very thing, but in the midst of all my tears and my pain from trying to handle things without seeking God, or holding on to things, or trying to figure it out --when I come to the realization that I need to let go and let God, that's when things turn around for my good. The key is in my willingness to pray, worship, fast, seek and trust God to work things out. If you are not a Christian, you need to sit with a professional, talk it through several times --think of the pros and cons and go from there.
We must also CHECK OURSELVES. What do I mean? We are a people with a tendency to look down our nose at others without looking at ourselves first. Check yourself, because the person on the bottom could very well be you. That person may be the one God will send to rescue you
from your situation. Don't be too quick to smirk or make high-handed comments about others less fortunate than yourself. Some people may have challenges they don't know how to handle because they just don't know what to do or how to get it done. I know you may not be able to help everyone, because some people don't want to be helped, but you can always pray for that person, even if you don't know that that person or it is someone who has done you wrong .
REACH OUT AND HELP SOMEONE OR DO SOMETHING GOOD. The society we live in today is a dog eat dog world, and it's all about "doing me", but we must remember that although we live in this world, we don't have to play out everything the way the world does it. The things of this life are momentary and whatever way you got them, you are most likely to lose them in the same way. Be willing to help others, do for others and love others. Sow a seed into someone's life and do it from your heart, but not because you want something back from them. God woke you up this morning, but better yet, just inhale and exhale and that's enough for you to want to help someone else. I know people have hurt you, believe me when I say I know, but revenge is not the answer, hurting each other is not the answer. All it does is create a cycle of hatred, malice, and death -- no good can come from it. You must give it to God and still be willing to love. Yes, I know you may be saying, "You must be crazy. Why would I want to forgive someone who has hurt me and love them? Wouldn't that say I am weak? Wouldn't that open the door for them to hurt me again? Why should I do that when I don't need them anyway?"
Forgive --because you become a prisoner to the people you refuse to forgive and the things you refuse to let go, AND because the BIBLE SAYS SO! The Lord's Prayer says ...and forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us... If you do not forgive as God has forgiven you so many times, then do you really expect God's Grace and Mercy to sustain and keep you as many times as you sin each and every day? The answer to your questions are:
Whatsoever you find to do with your hand, do it unto the Glory of God. You may serve in ministry in your church, but everyone is not called to serve in the building. You can serve in your community or you may be someone who just love to help others as God leads you to. It does not matter if your ministry is not in serving in an actual building and don't let anyone make you feel guilty about that either. Yes, we ought to work in the Kingdom of God, but in my opinion, the Kingdom of God is everywhere that God is and he is everywhere. If you are trying to witness to others, it is important for you to receive wisdom and knowledge from God and seek proper leadership. Remember, you are ministering to another soul and you are responsible for the words you speak to that individual, so you cannot approach them haphazardly. DO NOT WALK INTO THE WRONG OFFICE, or take on something that you were not anointed or called upon to do. 2 Samuel 6:2-23 speaks of the wrath of God on Uzza and subsequently his death for touching the Ark of God when the oxen shook and he thought it was about to fall. While his heart may have been in the right place, because he didn't want the Ark of God to fall, it was not his calling. A fruitful reminder --Be careful because you represent Christ when you open your mouth to do ministry. Do not expose yourself to harm or danger to witness to someone, use wisdom with the understanding that if you are true in what you are doing and not having your own agenda but God's agenda, and are anointed and called for the task, he will lead and guide you. Each of us have a testimony of how God has kept us and if you will allow God to use you, he will allow you to share your testimony with others at the appropriate time and in the right way, so they too can and will live the glorious life that God has made us and called us to live.
Isaiah 55:7 -- Let the wicked man forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Let us take the Armor of God and go forth now and take back the Kingdom of God and his people.

- Until you are truly willing to forgive, you will become a prisoner to the person you refuse to forgive. You may tell yourself you can or have moved on without forgiving. You may also think you have forgiven, but is there any real forward movement without forgiveness?
- No! Forgiveness does not make you weak. It helps you to grow in the maturity and understanding that sometimes it is better to walk away than to stand and fight, knowing that God will fight your battles for you. 2 Chronicles 20:15 says "....thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's." Your unwillingness to forgive creates weakness in your life as you become a pawn for the devil's use. God knows how to use the situation that hurt you to bless your life. The unforgiveness also prevents you from seeing clearly when you are being helped because the enemy will use distractions and reminders of the hurt to cause you to dwell in that place of unforgiveness and to the point where you start taking it out on others and even becoming self-destructive.
- When you have been hurt and have forgiven the one who hurt you, that's the first step to redemption and healing. Next, you must seek God so that HE can heal you from the hurt and pain. Sometimes the pain is for your own good because you may have allowed something to be attached to you or you have attached something to yourself that you have no business with --a soul tie. The pain doesn't feel good while your going through, but I guarantee you, your trust and surrender to God will help you to see things you could not have seen because you were so wrapped up in it. Have you ever been in an abusive relationship (verbal or physical) and you keep going back no matter how badly you were treated or threatened, but one day you get out. For a while you cry because you didn't understand why you were mistreated and you felt like you missed the person or can't stop thinking about them. Time passes and you start to let go and you didn't cry as much, you didn't miss them as much and you didn't even think about them anymore. You reflect on your life, maybe see them years later and you may cry or laugh but start thinking or saying to yourself --"Lord thank you for removing me from that situation." That was letting go and healing. In the case of a married couple, friend or dealing with a family member, you will need to seek God and ask HIM for wisdom to know how to work with that person. For example --if someone you know and trusted stole from you or hurt you, after you have forgiven them and God has healed the hurt and pain and the opportunity presents itself for you to help that person or be round them again, don't get up and leave things around them for them to steal again --or don't let them have the kind of access to you in that way again, but don't shut them out or cut them off, use wisdom, because God may be using you to bring that person out of whatever the situation they are in. An abusive spouse - seek God, ministerial and professional counseling because God wants us to forgive, but not to be foolish.
